“Just started the unit studies and the girls are loving the birds. They are fighting over who is going to take the pictures of birds.
Made our bird feeders out of an orange half (happened to see a pamphlet on it at a fast food resturant).
So far the girls have seen over thirty birds and we have not even left our backyard. They can identify them by sight and are working on identifing them by call.
We have only been at this for 2 WEEKS. I am AMAZED at what they have retained, because they enjoy it.
